The Best of 2013 ( CNN ) : Alex Jones' petition to deport Piers Morgan

" True, we have a higher gun violence level, but overall, muggings, stabbing, deaths — those men raped that woman to India to death with an iron rod 4 feet long. You can’t ban the iron rods. The guns, the iron rods, Piers, didn’t do it, the tyrants did it! Hitler took the guns, Stalin took the guns, Mao took the guns, Fidel Castro took the guns, Hugo Chavez took the guns, and I’m here to tell you! 1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms! It doesn’t matter how many lemmings you get out there in the street begging for them to have their guns taken! We will not relinquish them! Do you understand?! "
The argument goes like this. First step: throw out the names of the men demonized in the United States. Second, claim that they confiscated the guns in their country. Last step: Lose your temper on a media show and deport the host of the show sitting in front of you.
 In fact, last year in 2013, Alex Jones challenged Piers Morgan to another explosive debate live on CNN. 

苗栗泰安觀止溫泉會館之旅: ONSEN PAPAWAQA (? 日本語，不知道寫得對不對)

蒼穹/天蓬/

萬物棲息之地/仰望

/那用萬方孤寂砌成的廣寒宮/邀我小酌/

我一筆狂妄/埋頭栽進了詩畫之中/

鳥語花香/綴一口/陶醉的馨香/

迎風/撲霧/鳳鳥ˊ展翅/向天空

/俯視平疇/寬闊無涯

/燈火/銀輝/清心靜坐飲酒/

閒話/風月無邊/

入夢/一切都平靜了/

只剩下/落月的餘暉/

依然/掛在樹叢中

如此仙境，恐怕天底下都沒有吧! 錯了! 泰安觀止正是以上所述的世外桃源!

泰安觀止模仿涵碧樓，以四大材料構築成: 石頭、玻璃、木材 、和水泥。這棟立足茂林修竹之間的溫泉會館，是到苗栗所有人嚮往的地方。

大廳蓋在三樓，和一般飯店不太一樣。服務人員頗有禮貌，值得讚揚。

這裡是一份重要訊息: 泰安觀止有分123館，1館是最大的那棟，2館室圖中最後面的那幾間，3館是在對面，須過一條馬路，而我們住的4人房觀止套房正是在3館。

這就是我們住的觀止套房。房間極大，我極滿意。 客房除了有基本備品以外，還有私人溫泉浴缸。浴缸適用石頭砌成，非比平常的五星級飯店浴缸。整個房間是以石頭灰色色系為主。

礙於觀止套房電源會自動切斷，故我們安排換房。( 雖然會這樣，但是我早已很滿意了。)

飯店真好! 免費替我們升等到觀日套房，又為此飯店添增了不少色彩。

觀日套房相對起來比較小，卻比較精緻，有一種天然的色調。窗外可見後龍溪。

飯店的合菜和BUFFET都是在五樓行水廳，櫃檯的男性服務人員熱絡招待，使我們的心情飛奔到頂端。

 

我的視線"拾級而下"，一層、兩層、三層...... 自助餐區在第一層，用餐區在下方，合菜亦是。

值得一提的是，最末一道的清蒸鱸魚配上了冬瓜醬，美味，在我五臟六腑之間迴盪著，強烈喚起兒時吃魚的回憶，令人回味再三。肉厚不柴，香氣四溢的鱸魚就這樣受到掠食者的吞噬，片骨不留( 當然沒有我說的那麼誇張，片骨不留，哈哈哈哈哈。)

溫泉舒壓，冷泉消暑，風迎面拂來，霧迴盪於溫泉區之間，果真是 " 迎風/撲霧"啊! 溫泉附有滑鞋，必然要穿，否則你會四腳朝天，痛哭哀號喔!

溫泉不會過熱，溫度由36-40攝氏不等，冷泉我們沒泡。

典藏館有各式各樣的紀念品，大多是木頭精油洗髮乳，都是很昂貴的。

最後一點是，泰安觀止常有一隻柴犬在門口徘徊，故事如下(很悲慘）：

主人將其帶到泰安觀止，CHECK OUT時將其留在飯店內，飯店通知她，他也不予以理睬。飯店具有愛心，將其養在飯店草坪區內，不時給他洗澡，休息，平常他徘徊於店藏館與門口之間，期望主人回來，過了365天以上，主人也沒回來。

陳柏諭11歲通過劍橋英檢主流認證最高級( CPE, Certificate In Proficiency of English )

竹北十興國小5年級善班 - 陳柏諭 - 於2013年6月通過的劍橋英檢主流認證最高級考試，年紀僅11歲，就取得了相當於英國大學程度的CPE認證。

陳柏諭小朋友未曾在國外居住或遊學，平常僅靠閱讀和家教美序老師的輔助，以增進英語能力。為了測試自己的英文程度，參加劍橋英檢主流認證的考試．於七歲時通過初級英檢(KET）．於八歲時通過中級英檢(PET)．於九歲時通過中高級英檢（FCE ) ．於十歲時通過高級英檢（CAE )．於十一歲時通過最高級英檢（CPE )，一連過五關斬五將，因此對英文更加有信心。

陳柏諭愛閱讀的書籍包括哈利波特系列．達文西密碼．波西傑克森系列．百慕達三角洲之謎及英文雜誌．．．．等等。

除此之外，陳柏諭也很喜歡科學及數學，希望將來朝數理方面多加努力。

陳柏諭小朋友，於七歲時通過初級英檢 ( KET, Key English Test )，於八歲時通過中級英檢 ( PET, Preliminary English Test )，於九歲時通過中高級英檢 ( FCE, First Certificate In English )，於十歲時通過高級英檢 ( CAE, Certificate In Advanced English )，於十一歲時通過最高級英檢 ( CPE, Certificate Of Proficiency In English)。

(藝術與神祕事件) The Emblematic Smile Of The Mona Lisa / The Jesus Theory

The compelling and emblematic smile behind the most famous painting in the world, who was made immortal by Leonardo di Ser Piero da Vinci, is part of the collection in the Salles De Etats, in the Louvre. It goes without saying that there is no second painting that puts the Mona Lisa in the shade. However, we should stop for a moment to consider whether there is a tale behind the Mona Lisa. Is the smile due to a secret unknown to the world, and hidden by the Catholic Church?

Many have related the Mona Lisa to the so called "Jesus Theory." This revealing of this conspiracy could  lead to the downfall of the Church itself. The content of this secret is that Jesus had a female partner during his mortal life on Earth. This secret could be seen in a number of paintings, especially the Last Supper. A woman holding a baby sits on the right hand of the Son of the Lord, while one of Jesus' disciples - Peter - is leaning menacingly towards the woman. Leaving aside the Last Supper, the Sistine Chapel could be a perfect proof for this conspiracy. Notice a woman next to Jesus Christ, in the scene of Judgement Day. Why had not the Pope blame Michelangelo for that, since the period of the Inquisition was closing up?

Leonardo da Vinci's mischievous side can be seen inside the Last Supper. Therefore, there should be no doubt that the Mona Lisa's smile makes reference to the Jesus Theory.

( 雕工藝術) The Art Museum

The Art Museum tells of enigmatic and compelling tales of mystery and power behind the most well-known artworks, from the prehistoric times to the present. It is its A3 art prints and columns that distinguish it from the sea of books. Its publishing by Phaiton has made a remarkable impact not only on the world of art, but also on the mind of art audiences.

Most consider it as an artwork itself, since its prints - most of which are second to none - are realistic and appealing. Ranging from the styles of modern impressionists to the sfumato techniques by Leonardo Da Vinci, there appears to be no one who cannot gaze at this book in awe. It should also be noted that this book was not appreciated during its first publishing. It was through Phaiton's astonishing determination to improve its entire content and photographs that this publishing company made it immortal.

But, it is a cliche' that good things have its price. The typical price for this book is NT$ 8000 ~ 10000. Calculating that to U.S dollars, it would be US$ ( D ): 226 ~ 333.
